How to wear green and pink and look stylish
Green and pink. It may not be the most obvious combination of colors but the truth is that lately, I’ve been wearing green and pink a lot. I mean, they look really amazing paired together and are a perfect pop of color to wear on winter days.
If you love them as much as I do, but do not know how to wear it, here it is the simple trick: choose soberer pink and green shades such as dark green (or khaki) and pale pink. You can accessorize it with a strong shade of one of the colors – such as the pink belt – or not. It all depends on what you love the most. And, of course, the other pieces should be neutral so one looks chic and not too flashy. At least I’m at this point that I do not want looks with too much information.
Because fashion is fun and freedom of expression if you have not yet tried to pair green and pink get out of your comfort zone and try it on.
Plus, it is also important to pay attention to the proportions and lengths of the pieces. For example, because the skirt is maxi and has ruffles, I chose to visually deconstruct the look with a wider and masculine trench coat that gives some austerity to an outfit that, at first glance, would be completely feminine. I mean, pairing feminine clothes with some oversized ones is a good way to create an interesting look. And yes, usually, the oversized coats give an unpretentious and cool twist to whatever one dresses.
Consequently, and because fashion is fun and freedom of expression if you have not yet tried to pair green and pink get out of your comfort zone and try it on. I bet you’ll love it.
