What to wear at New Year’s Eve: party at friends’ house
New Year. I do not know how we are already in the final of 2018. Isn’t it awkward, how time really flies? For me, it was a year of changes – especially on a personal level – and all seemed to happen in the blink of an eye. I mean, it looks like it was New Year’s Eve just yesterday.
But time passes – or does it fly? – and here we are, almost welcoming 2019. And so I created two looks (this and the one you guys will see on Monday), to inspire somehow on what to wear to this special date. I mean, is not every day we’re welcoming 365 new chances, right?
So this look is for the ones that will have parties at friends’ houses (who does not like to start the year surrounded by the most important people?), and that’s the reason why I have flowers. After all, when I go to someone’s house, I always like to offer a little thing. And, most of the time, this little thing are flowers.
Talking about the outfit, it’s festive but each one of the pieces can be worn in many other ways, in more casual outfits too. And this is what I like most about fashion: the chances. The only limit is creativity itself.

With the exception of the jacket (which was my Christmas gift from me to me), I already had all the other pieces. And, this means that, in order to create your new year’s eve look, you do not necessarily have to go buy new clothes.
So if you want to start he year saving some money or if you are adopting a more sustainable way of life, look for new clothes on your own closet before you go into the stores to buy clothes that you may not even need.
