The new spot in town everybody loves
Cool places. Some people say that I have this thing for cool places. And, truth to be told, I think I have. I love beautiful places with good vibes and nice people. In fact, I think we all do, right?
So when I heard about the new cafe/restaurant that opened in the city I was very excited to go and grab a coffee. And I went. Me and my boyfriend actually.
It’s a café, a bar and a restaurant all in one. And it totally is my favorite place for snacks and gossips with my friends and late lunches with my boyfriend.
By now, you’re probably curious about this new spot, right? It’s called Vogue Café, and has the Condé Nast signature, what sounds really good, right? It doesn’t disappoint. It’s a café, a bar and a restaurant all in one. And it totally is my favorite place for snacks and gossips with my friends and late lunches with my boyfriend. Thus, the place is ample, the decor takes us to travel through Paris and Saint Tropez, with a chic interior and a terrace that seems taken from a movie. Here and there, pictures with iconic covers of Vogue awaken in us the desire to read them again. I mean, it’s like when we’re at Vogue Café we turn a little bit top models.
As we went for lunch, I ordered the tagliatelle and my boyfriend the soba noodles. For dessert, as we are both addicted to cheesecake, the choice was obvious: lime cheesecake. It was all absolutely delicious but I would say the cheesecake is truly divine. You need to try it.
Then, and because it was a sunny Sunday we stood on the terrace, like two lovers who share a comfortable silence on a spring day, punctuated by glances and smiles that replace words.
With this being said, if you haven’t been to Vogue Café yet and you’re in Porto, I highly suggest you to. I’m really glad that such a charming place has chosen this beautiful city to settle.
