How is it like to be at Paris Fashion Week?
Paris. Do you know those dreams that we know are just that, dreams? I had one: go to an international fashion week. There are dreams more distant, you might be thinking. It is true. Anyways, it was something I had always wanted but saw as a mirage. So, when I opened the invitations to the fashion shows in one of the most desirable fashion weeks in the world, I swear, I jumped with happiness. I jumped, danced, and read 30 times to see if I was delirious. I was not. I remember calling my boyfriend, voice choked with emotion, to tell him. It was official, we were going to Paris.
I receive so many beautiful messages full of love, and it makes me feel so happy and grateful inside. Knowing that I somehow inspire and improve one's life is the best retribution I can have. Without you nothing I lived would have been possible. Thank you for being there. Thank you for being the most amazing readers in the universe.
Of course, for many people, this is just another fashion week. But for me, it was much more than that. It was the recognition of hard work, of my dedication and, above all, of so much of me that I put here. And I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. To all of you who give me your time when reading the words I write, seeing my photos and enjoying my work. I receive so many beautiful messages full of love, and it makes me feel so happy and grateful inside. Knowing that I somehow inspire and improve one’s life is the best retribution I can have. Without you, nothing I lived would have been possible. Thank you for being there. Thank you for being the most amazing readers in the universe.
Back to Paris, when we entered the Palais de Tokyo, the location of the first fashion show, I shivered inside. Of happiness, but above all of the gratitude. And, believe me, I’ve experienced some of the best moments of 2018 there. Because when a dream comes true we feel so many and so intense feelings that it is actually hard to describe them.
The first fashion show in Paris that I saw was of the Chinese Masha Ma and I especially adored the way she played with the textures and materials. I’m sharing some pics with you so you can see it as well. And here I am showing what I wore too. Yay or nay? Ignore my serious face: it was only a refuge from the eruption of emotions I was experiencing at that moment. Paris was magical.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
