How to wear summer dresses on Fall
Summer dresses on Fall. The autumn finally arrived – in Paris, the thermometers were already touching the 13ºC – and with it the desire of buying new cozy clothes. However, we have to be smart and play with the pieces that we already have, so that we can get different looks without going broke, right?
Of course, it’s great to be able to buy new clothes but it isn’t always possible. This means that we should use our creativity not only to dress well and achieve different looks but above all to find our own style.
And, one of the most versatile pieces to wear in the early autumnal days are summer dresses. I mean, when paired with shirts – as I did here – with sweaters or with cardigans it looks amazing. The idea is to create a harmonious deconstruction between the light fabric of the dress and the cozy piece.
I mean fashion can be disposable, but style is something much more solid as it has more to do with personality.
As my Achilles heel is my feet – if they freeze my body all freezes – nothing better than putting on some boots to create an even more autumnal effect. Anyways, this look could also have been paired with a camel coat and stilettos or with a wool sweater and sneakers. The imagination is really the limit.
The advice I give you – especially for those who want to dress well but do not have so much money to spend on clothes – is to make smart choices and use your imagination. Inspire yourself in magazines, bloggers or even people you see on the street and wear the same piece in different ways over and over again. Remember that money helps, yes, but nothing beats the sense of style.
I mean fashion can be disposable, but the style is something much more solid as it has more to do with personality. So, take the summer dresses of your closet and make them your best friends.
