How important is breaking routines?
Lisbon. Last Friday we went to Lisbon for L’Oreal’s Stylista party (soon there will be some fantastic news) and we ended up sleeping there. The idea was to stroll around the city in the morning and, in the afternoon, to go to Portugal Fashion. But in the morning it was raining cats and dogs so we ended up in Amelia for brunch. Usually, we never stay in queues of restaurants/cafes but as it was Saturday and there was no clock threatening us, we waited for a table. And I’m glad we did because I loved Amelia (couldn’t take many pics because it was almost full).
I believe that sticking to a routine is not only good but essential for a healthy life. We need a thread that will lead us to our goals and that is the great power of routines.
Anyways, because of that, I began to think about routines. I believe that sticking to a routine is not only good but essential for a healthy life. We need a thread that will lead us to our goals and that is the great power of routines. But if it is true that it is important to have a routine, it’s also important to break it once in a while. Whether it’s a trip, a getaway or a lunch at a different place. Although I never completely relax (I’m always worried about taking pictures to show you the best places and looks), getting out of the routine makes me feel alive and more inspired.
So, despite coming from Lisbon very tired, I had this amazing feeling of being with a lot of new ideas and very inspired. So, it was worth it going to Lisbon, right? Did you guys see the stories I’ve done that on Instagram?
