Hey you 2018: Goals and Dreams
Hello, 2018. The first thing I do, on January 1st, is to write down my goals in a new journal. For 2018 I chose a white one with gold polka dots, so it can be a sparkling year. It is a ritual I have to myself that makes me happy and gives me motivation. This does not mean that every goal and wish will come true. It just means my faith in this open book that is the 365 opportunities ahead.
For this year, which begins, I do not ask for much. The truth is – and do not listen to me, 2018 – I’ve always preferred even years. But 2018 has arrived and all I want is to make it a happy year.
As everything in life, it is up to us make this year a good one. So let's make 2018 a memorable year
Thus, when the clock hit the midnight, the first wish I asked for was health. It may sound cliché, but that’s what matters the most to me. Then, of course, my wish was for love. Because when we have love we become better people. I wish from the bottom of my heart that in 2018 we all have love and the people we love around.
I also asked to travel more because there is so much world to see. And because traveling makes us open our perspectives and think differently. I do not know if it happens to you, too, but I’m super happy when I get to know new places. Also, i asked for books, because written stories are a way to travel without leaving the place we are. And because reading is one of the things I love the most. I asked for tolerance, with myself and with what happens to me. It was something that I worked very hard in last year and that makes me feel better inside.
Talking about the blog I asked for more opportunities and, above all, I asked for motivation to work even harder. I want to produce more beautiful content for you this year. And I hope I can continue inspiring you with beautiful clothes and fantastic places but above all to be better people, daily. Shall we make Le Fashionaire a safe haven on bad days and a destination on the good moments?
I asked for more smiles, more hugs, more kisses, more foot in the sand, more time with the ones that matter to me, more books on the beach, more movies on the sofa, more tolerance, and more love. I did not ask for sport, but I know 2018 is going to be the year I’ll get serious about swimming.
As everything in life, it is up to us make this year a good one. So let’s make 2018 a memorable year!
