3 tips to be happier in life
Happiness. It’s funny how, no matter how different we are, we all look for the same: happiness. Of course, happiness doesn’t mean the same to everyone. There are those we are happy watching football games every week while others are happy cooking for the family. That is the magic of happiness. But, more than a goal, I believe happiness is a state of mind.
Although it is impossible be happy all the time, if we relativize life more and concentrate on the little things that put a smile on our lips, it is possible to be happier. Lately, I’ve been focusing a lot on what matters. And, this leads me to the 3 tips I want to share with you, to be happier in life:
There are those we are happy watching football games every week while others are happy cooking for the family. That is the magic of happiness. But, more than a goal, i believe happiness is a state of mind.
1- Be grateful. Even if I am on a big no day when everything goes wrong, I thank the universe for something good that has happened. There is always something good even on the worst days. Find it and be grateful for it.
2- Relativize. Giving importance to things that, decidedly, do not have it, is halfway to stop happiness. The key is to relativize and think that everything in life passes. Even us.
3- Focus on you and on the people who care about you. It is one of the most precious tips that I discovered and that makes me much happier since I practice it. We set up at home half an hour where we do not talk about troubles and, instead, we do something we enjoy, whether it’s reading, watching a tv show or just being hugged. And that, by itself, brings happiness, do you believe?
