The portuguese Palace you need to know
Queluz Palace. Portugal has beautiful palaces and as a palace lover i’ve been visiting some of them on the past few years. My favorites so far are the Pena Palace and the Queluz Palace. The Queluz Palace is an opulent building with a gold and bold decor, full of details, porcelains, rooms and a sumptuous aura.
As i’ve already shared with you guys, me and my boyfriend have decided to discover more of our beautiful country, Portugal. So, when we have free time, instead of staying at home watching tv (well, we do so too from time to time), we prefer to discover new monuments and places. Probably some of you already know that i love new places specially palaces.
So, on the first holiday of the month, we went to Lisbon and decided to visit some palaces. One of them was Queluz Palace. I’ve already visited it a few years ago, but this place is so magical and beautiful i just couldn’t resist to be there again.
Being in each room and thinking about all the kings and queens whom have laughed, cried, told secrets there it’s quite scary yet magical.
You know, being in each room and thinking about all the kings and queens whom have laughed, cried, told secrets there it’s quite scary yet magical. It’s kind of an open door to our imagination to think about how things were back in time.
Anyway, leaving the stories and talking about History, the portuguese king D.Pedro IV, Brazil’s Emperor, was born and died in this Palace. One can visit its room and learn more about portuguese monarchy and how they lived.
If you love Palaces as much as i do you need to visit Queluz Palace when in Portugal. The Palace itself is amazing and so are the gardens.
