One piece, two outfits: the dress you can wear as an oversized shirt
Stripes. When i first saw this red and white striped dress on instagram i found it amazing. I mean, it has a French Riviera vibe and guess what? I was going to Côte D’Azur soon.
So, i tryed it at Zara and while i was doing that i found myself thinking about wearing it in the most obvious way: with a dark brown leather belt to highlight the curves. But then i realized i could totally wear it in a creative way as an oversized shirt above a tank top and denim shorts.
Needless to say, when we arrived in Nice i immediately found myself thinking that this outfit had everything to do with the city.
Needless to say, when we arrived in Nice i immediately found myself thinking that this outfit had everything to do with the city. So, on the next day and after a quick shower there was me dressing this outfit to explore the city.
As you may know by now, it was the first time of me and my boyfriend at Nice. So, we decided to walk on the streets to discover the city pretty corners. When i saw the amazing infusions, flowers and provence herbes people were selling i wanted to buy it all. I didn’t, off course, but i bought some infusions because i really love tea.
Then, we climbed the hills to the castle because i red somewhere that the view at the top was breathtaking. And it was true. From the top one can see the city and the turquoise sea water of the beach. It’s pretty amazing.
Regardless walking a lot, we also went to the beach and i absolutely loved the sea’s water at the beach even if i only got my feet wet.
Anyway, i loved Nice and i was so happy that i wore the stripes dress there as an oversized shirt. It made the outfit more interesting and less predictable. However, you’ll probably see me wearing it as a dress soon. After all, that’s what i love the most about a piece: its versatility.
