Why you need to visit Palácio da Bolsa
Palácio da Bolsa. Located in the heart of Oporto (in the historical centre)this palace is not actually a palace of kings and queens. Let me explain: this palace was build in the XIX century by the city’s Commercial Association. Nowadays it still is home for the Oporto Commercial Association.
The palace is incredible and it’s really hard not to get stuck at every detail.
Anyways, even if it is a work place (how fun is it, a palace where people actually work) it’s possible either to visit it and to plan events there such as weddings. I mean, the palace is incredible and it’s really hard not to get stuck at every detail. All the rooms are amazing and pretty sumptuous and one almost can’t believe it’s not a real palace because it really seems like one.
We went there on saturday because i was really curious about it. And truth to be said i wasn’t disappointed. I loved every room and every corner. It’s all so beautiful yet opulent, you know?
So, if you happen to be in Porto i would highly suggest you to visit this palace. You’ll love it.
How much does it cost? All the visits are guided in you language and the price is 8,50€ per person.
If you’ve already gone there let me know what you think about it.
