Monserrate: a palace for fairy tales
Palace. Visiting the Monserrate Palace on a warm fall afternoon is kind of magical. Architecturally imposing, the building mixes different styles like gothic and indian, which leads into eccentric arcs and beautiful walls.

After visiting its interior – where there are no more decorative pieces, we are just able to appreciate the architecture – it’s time to visit the gardens. They’re a lot of them all around the palace, and it’s pretty amazing to walk there with your other half.
Anyways, the day we went to visit it, a couple was celebrating the wedding and i couldn’t help but think how amazing would be a party there. If you are in Portugal or if you are planning to come here you need to visit Monserrate Palace. You’ll love it.
