Personal: How to fight demotivation?
Beach. Since i remember being me i love going to the beach. It’s something that calms me down deeper inside and makes me feel happier. Off course i prefer going to the beach in summer but i also love to go for a walk there on winter days.
So that, when we had the idea of going to Portinho da Arrábida last week (a wonderful portuguese beach) i felt truly happy. Being totally honest with you, i was feeling a little bit demotivated on these last couple of weeks. You see, i had a long time stopped due to my surgery but my mind had not stopped for a minute. And even if we were in France in holidays, i was feeling that i had not truly rest since my brazilian holidays in January. I’m always thinking what to do next, what pics to take, what posts to write. Being a freelancer is amazing (i really enjoy my job), but it also lead us into a very alone place. I mean, i speak to people through internet and phone, but most of the time i’m all by myself writing from home. Even if i do love that, from time to time it makes me feel demotivated and out of ideas. Does anyone there who’s freelancer relate to this feeling?

Don’t get me wrong. I love my life and i’m so grateful for everything that i have and for all the people i have around me who truly care. Also, i’m so grateful for having you reading my words. But as any other person i’m human and despite being a super positive one i get sad too. Sometimes due to stupid little things.
You know, i believe the trick to overcome these bad days is doing anything we truly enjoy or being with people we love and love us back. That’s why going to Portinho da Arrábida with my boyfriend made me feel so good. Somehow it made me reconnect with my inner self.
I don’t know about you but for me september is a weird month. It’s the month of new beginnings and coming back to routine. The days are slowly getting shorter and it reminds us we are just 3 months far from chirstmas. Isn’t it scary?
Anyway, let’s enjoy these last months of 2017 together. I have lots of content to share with you and, for now, we still can go to the beach because it’s still hot. Let’s enjoy it until it ends, shall we?
