The day i jumped into a straw bale…and liked it!
Golden fields. One of those hot summer days we got up early in the morning to drive with no destination. You know what they say, it’s not all about the destination it’s about the journey. We were enjoying the ride and the village views, when we saw these straw bales on the golden fields.
I mean, how could i resist? We stopped the car laughing while The Chainsmokers were singing “we’re staying in Paris, la la la” on the radio.
To be totally honest, at that moment i completely forgot i’m an adult. I started running happy as a child on the fields. You see, i wasn’t able to run for the past 4 months and it felt so damn good.
This is what happiness is all about: unexpected moments tattooed on our memories.
Off course, he called me crazy. But, as always he followed me with his camera and we had a great time laughing at those fields. It’s pretty impressive how close we are to happiness from time to time. It seems we almost can touch it. And we do. Deep in our hearts.
Crazy as i am, i had to jump the straw bale. I had never done something like that before and it was great. I mean, some people will find it stupid and no sense but i loved it. It’s like i was at the top of the world.
Anyway, this is what happiness is all about: unexpected moments tattooed on our memories.
