Buying clothes at Primark: yay or nay?
Primark. I know a lot of people who have some kind of prejudice on buying clothes at stores like Primark or even fairs. I don’t. For me what really matters is the piece’s quality. If i can get a bargain i wouldn’t pay way more just because it’s from a fancy brand.
I mean, off course it’s easier to find beautiful clothes made from amazing materials such as silk or cotton at Uterque than it is at Primark. But it doesn’t mean you can’t find some amazing pieces at Primark either.
Clothes aren’t about brands but about how you feel like when you wear them.
You see, i have been looking for an embroidered beach dress like this one for ages, but all of them were way too expensive. That was when i went to Primark, just to have a look, and found this one all made from cotton with this amazing blue majorelle embroidered. I paid around 15 euros for it, so it was such a find.
So, i believe finding nice clothes or accessories has more to do with patience than it has to do with money. Again, off course it’s easier to buy amazing clothes when you want to splurge. But if you’re just another girl like me, it’s perfectly fine to look for good clothes at a nice price.
With this being said, for me the answer is yay. I buy at Primark as i would buy at Chanel if i could. What really matters to me is the quality and the aesthetic of the clothes and accessories. And if they have a nice price tag the better. My bank account says thank you. At the end of the day, clothes aren’t about brands but about how you feel like when you wear them. And i feel amazing in this beach Primark dress.
