3 reasons why you need a digital detox
Detox. Digital world has become part of our lives and as a blogger i feel that i need to be connected almost all the time. Actually, almost all of us are online nowadays. We have facebook, instagram, google, twitter you name it. However, i guess living without sharing is as important as being connected.
I guess living without sharing is as important as being connected.
I mean, last week i was feeling so overwhelmed with writing and creating content that all i wanted to do was turn off and forget internet for one day. And that was exactly what i did. On sunday me and my boyfriend went to the Botanical Garden for a walk. We felt the nature and enjoyed each other’s company without being interrupted. And truth to be said it felt so damn good to be offline.
Don’t get me wrong: i love internet (gosh, i’m a blogger), but from time to time i feel a lack of creativity when i don’t turn off. So that, i decided that once a week i’ll go offline.
And this leads us to the 3 reasons why a digital detox is needed for everyone:
- To get inspiration from what surround you
- To give yourself, your eyes and your mind a much needed break
- To appreciate people’s company for real without distractions
