White
White is for kindness. This summer white was one of my go-to colors. White is innocent yet serene and makes me feel confident in a peaceful and uncomplicated way. Some people find it hard to style but i truly think that is a matter of habit. As soon as you introduce white clothes on your wardrobe, you’ll feel more confident to wear it as a substitute of black. The result is always a cleaner and graceful outfit.
So that, when i saw this white embroidered romper at Pull & Bear my heart just bumped. It’s so pretty in its childish mood, that i just could not resist. How could i?
The first time i wear it was for a walk to one of my favorite places: the Rei Cortiço beach. As you guys know i love going to the beach whether it is summer or winter. And as long as we discovered this amazing beach lost in the map, i imagined going there wearing my new white romper. And so we did.
Otherwise, i think on clothes on a more special way. I see them as pieces linked to moments and memories.
Most of people see clothes just as something to wear. Something they will throw away when it doesn’t fit anymore. No feelings attached.
Otherwise, i think on clothes on a more special way. I see them as pieces linked to moments and memories. You know, when i pick up something to wear, these specific clothes i choose reflect my state of mind on that moment. It’s an expression of myself. And that specific outfit and those clothes will remember me the moments i experience wearing it. Happy or not.
There are so many clothes on my closet – well, i don’t actually have a closet, it is more like a wardrobe, but i like to think that i’ll have a closet some day – which remember me of moments i lived and people i knew that is quite of magical.
This white romper still has the sea smell on it, at least on my mind. And it will always be linked to the memory of a wonderful beach i went to this summer.
I don’t have favorite colours, but if i did white would be one of them.
